CAMRA Welcome to the Newark CAMRA Area Pub Database CAMRA
This database is produced by the Newark Branch of The Campaign for Real Ale (CAMRA). It therefore has a strong real ale bias. Pubs are continually changing, sometimes for the better, sometimes not, so you can help us keep this up-to-date by sending your amendments to us. Please send them to here Please do not annoy the publicans or their staff and do not say you represent CAMRA if you have no authority to do so.

Disclaimer: the information in this guide comes from many sources and comes with no guarantee of accuracy; if you find any errors we will be glad to correct them. The descriptions are those of the inspectors and are not necessarily the views of CAMRA or its branches.

Pubs can be found using the ‘Search Database’ page; just enter the location or pub name or postcode or any of the facilities you are looking for and click the search button at the bottom.
Alternatively use the ‘Selectable Map’. The definition can be changed using the scalar on the left of the map and it can be dragged left/right and up/down to find the part of the county you are looking for. Clicking on one of the markers will reveal its location, click on the location and the pub's details will appear.
When you have found the pub you are looking for, click on the UK Map icon icon to produce a Google map to pin point its position. For other ways of navigating there we have listed the Ordinance Survey grid references as well as the longitude and latitude.

Many pubs have their own websites and we show those that we know about.

To see a complete list of beers brewed in the UK you will need a Good Beer Guide (GBG), updated annually. Available from CAMRA HQ.

If you have any updates, please e-mail us.
