Stained Windows, Hearty Goodfellow, Southwell

Welcome to the Newark CAMRA area pub guide.

There are over ninety pubs in the Newark CAMRA area. Whatever your taste, there's a pub for you. Whether it's for a cycle ride to a country pub, a cozy winter night by a log fire or a pub crawl around the town, we'll try to help you chose the right one.

Here, we have attempted to detail all the pubs selling real ale in our area. The guide is maintained by volunteers and your input is encouraged to help keep it up-to-date. If you know of any changes or updates to the published information, then please drop us an email

One detail we have purposefully omitted is opening hours due to their changeability. If you are planning a visit to any of the pubs, it is recommended you phone ahead to avoid disappointment.

Another detail we have left out is which pubs are entries in the CAMRA Good Beer Guide - for that information, you'll just have to buy a copy!

Use the menu bar to search the guide by town, village, pub name, or by area map.

Each pub has its own page so that you can print its details easily.
