After a major refurb several years ago, this
historic pub, formerly the Queen's Head, is
now sadly a shadow of its old self. With loud music and large-screen TV, it caters mainly for younger people, and as such, the availability of real ale is somewhat erratic which is odd, as this is the only Wychwood outlet for miles. Outside tables overlooking Newark market place make for al-fresco drinking during the summer months. |
