 Comfortable, if smallish, open plan pub, catering for diners and drinkers alike.
The landlord has a commitment to real ale,
good wine and excellent food all at a reasonable price.
Four hand pulls feature Black Sheep as
their 'standard' bitter, the second always a cask mild. The 3rd pump
rotates with well-known brands commonly London Pride, Bombardier,
Broadside and Pedigree. The last pump is usually a micro, generally
a local one.
They offer 10 wines by the glass and
have a serious Espresso machine for the drivers. Food offered covers
a range of pockets and tastes, all made from fresh local
ingredients.
There is a recently built patio outside
complete with patio furniture and inside has been refurbished
without losing the character aspects of the property.
