The 1st Tokyo Real Ale Festival in 2003 will be held at the famous pub "Popeye" in downtown Tokyo in the 15th of March

Said Toshi "This is the very first time Real Ale Festival we've ever had in Japanese beer history. Nobody knew the word of REAL ALE before 21st century in this country. There were only pub serving real ales and only brewery producing them in Japan two years ago. Popeye, a most famous pub and Yo-Ho Brewing Co, a most passionate brewery shook hands with each other for this festival."

He continued: "I'm very honoured to be one of organizers and the technical advisor out there. There will be just ten real ales coming from central Japan, including our best selection, Yona-yona Ale (means "Every night" in Japanase): Flagship (American Pale Ale), Porter and my Barley wine. It should be much fun!"

He also extended this invitation: "If you have time to visit Japan, please join us! If not, don't worry about it, I can send e-mail to you with some nicest pictures about it."
